Axolotl

The axolotl is a rare type of salamander only found in Mexico. They are an aquatic animal and have over 15 different colours and patterns they can come in. The 6 long prongs sticking out of their head are used as gills. An axolotl can regrow almost any body part, but it stops at five times.
Axolotls also are 1OOO times more resilient to cancer than most mammals. This knowledge could be used to extend our lifespan and tackle cancer, meaning it could save thousands of lives.
As well as possibly extending our life span, these little salamanders are extremely sustainable food wise. Axolotls suck on rocks or gravel, sucking up all the nutrients, and in the process cleans their habitat. It would get dirty again quickly meaning an Axolotl can swim right up and eat again.
