The molly is a fish which grows up to 11.4 cm and can vary in shape and colour depending on it’s type. These fish are halophiles and alkaphiles. Because of this, mollies are found in almost any aquatic environments.

Mollies have an amazingly sustainable food source as well. Mollies eat algae which is a fast spreading marine plant and is unhealthy for waters. In some places algae is even a huge problem.

These amazing animals can even survive waters as toxic as Lake Natron, which many animals would have their flesh burnt away in only seconds.
